TRAK GLOBAL SECURITY SOLUTIONS TARGETS STOLEN VEHICLE AND CARGO RECOVERY INNOVATION WITH QUECLINK PARTNERSHIP
Trak Global Security Solutions, the stolen vehicle and asset recovery specialist, has expanded its partnership with telematics hardware provider, Queclink Wireless Solutions, as part of its growth strategy in the road transport sector. Under the technology agreement, the company will have full access to Queclink’s range of tracking hardware with the aim of enhancing its capabilities.
“Vehicle and cargo theft has become far more organised and technology driven in recent years, so it is critical that we keep evolving our recovery solutions to keep ahead of the criminals,” explains Dougie Watt, COO of Trak Global Security Solutions. “Our extended partnership with Queclink means we can take advantage of an extensive range of telematics devices and tap into their team’s unrivalled expertise. This will enable us to develop tailored solutions that address our customers’ individual security challenges within the freight and logistics marketplace.”
Trak Global underwent a management buy-out at the beginning of 2024, and since then the company has been exploring how best to develop its service proposition. It has already worked closely with Queclink to develop its Smart Sleeper solution, which uses technology that is very difficult for thieves to detect. Trak Global will now look to extend its hardware options – including advanced tracking units, both hard-wired and battery-powered, and Bluetooth tags – to deliver highly sophisticated and integrated recovery and detection solutions.
“Our industry-leading recovery solution is underpinned by innovative telematics technology that provides the crucial link between us, the customer and our professional recovery teams. We are helping organisations from a growing number of industry sectors to change the approach to how they secure their assets, and partnering with Queclink will make a huge difference to our proposition moving forward,” adds Dougie Watts.
Vernon Bonser, UK Sales Director at Queclink Wireless Solutions commented: “We have the most comprehensive and cost-effective range of devices for the SVR, fleet management and insurance sectors. As our tracking units and tags become smaller and more powerful, they are increasingly easier to conceal and harder to detect, with the ability to track almost any vehicle, asset, equipment, cargo and tool. This means we are best placed to partner with Trak Global to develop highly sophisticated security solutions and support their ongoing success.”
