Space saving solutions can be seen at Manchester open day.
Visitors to the forthcoming Warehouse Technology Group (WTG) open day, which takes place on June 14th at the WTG’s Logistics Research and Innovation Centre (LRIC) in Manchester, will see a live demonstration of a range of the latest Intralogistics solutions from the Flexi Warehouse Systems portfolio, including:
• FlexiPiCK – a layer quantity customer order picking solution that allows users to take advantage of the increasingly popular layer quantity order picking concept without the need to invest in high fixed cost guided or automated handling technology;
• StorMAX storage technology which, in comparison with storage systems served by conventional reach trucks, allows 50 per cent more pallet locations to be achieved within the dimensions of a store;
• Models from Narrow Aisle’s flagship Flexi AC range of articulated forklift trucks. Narrow Aisle designs, manufactures and supplies the Flexi range in capacities from 1.3 to 3.0 tonnes and with lift heights of between 3.0 and 15.0 metres. The trucks can operate in aisleways as narrow 1.6 metres and their ability to improve storage, handling and customer order assembly efficiency in manufacturing and logistics environments is well proven with many thousands of units successfully deployed across the world.
WTG is a collaboration of more than 20 market leading companies in the Intralogistics industry that manufacture and supply a full range of specialist equipment and services. It was established to provide users with an insight into the latest technology available to companies operating warehouses and distribution centres, as well as delivering a unique warehouse location to allow system testing and operator all in one familiarisation facility.
The June 14th event is open to all companies active in the intralogistics supply chain sector to attend, especially those actively looking at improving their current facilities and reducing operational costs.
