The BCMPA, the Association for Contract Manufacturing, Packing, Fulfilment & Logistics is pleased to be a headline sponsor at CHEMUK, at the NEC on 15th & 16th September.
After recent postponements, this is the first CHEMUK since its successful launch in Harrogate in 2019, and the first event of its kind that the BCMPA has attended since the start of the pandemic.
With the the global annual worth of the chemical sector now estimated to be in excess of $638 billion, CHEMUK offers a valuable opportunity to bring together the UK’s chemicals, chemical processing, chemical product formulations & chemical using industries.
In addition to the BCMPA’s presence, 5 other BCMPA members will be attending (Cod Beck Blenders, Grotech Production, Libra Speciality Chemicals, Maker Industrial and Safapac), all of whom will be highlighting the extensive benefits and capabilities of outsourcing services within the chemical sector. With requirements for the outsourcing of specialist services of all kinds in the chemical industry in increasing demand, visitors to the show will be able to network with a host of experts in this field.
More than 45 firms in the BCMPA’s almost 200-strong membership provide contract manufacturing services in this sector, which has seen significant growth both during and since the pandemic. The BCMPA website’s search facility assists businesses looking to source expert guidance on a wide range of specialist projects, including decanting from bulk to small packs, toll blending, formulation and product development and the filling of many different types of packaging.
Featuring over 350 exhibitors and 150+ expert speakers, CHEMUK 2021 is fast becoming a key date in the industry’s diary, providing an intensive 2-day focus on supply chain sourcing, business networking, intelligence gathering, innovation showcasing, best practice, and strategy development experimentation.
As part of this informative event, Rodney Steel (CEO of the BCMPA), and Caitlin Rafferty (Sales and Marketing Manager from Maker Industrial), will be speaking on Thursday 16th at 11.40am on stage 3, on the advantages of outsourcing and how they benefit customers/brand owners/retailers looking to outsource their chemical projects, by offering greater flexibility, overcoming the logistical issues arising from Brexit, and support with labelling and legislation.
Steel added, “We are delighted to be exhibiting at CHEMUK again, supporting BCMPA members in the world of chemical contract manufacturing. The 2019 event was hugely productive both in terms of networking and new enquiries, and I have little doubt that the 2021 event will match and probably surpass it.”
Attendance at CHEMUK2021 is free, and online registration can be found here.
