SureCam, the video telematics and fleet safety technology specialist, has launched a next-generation, multi-view dashcam solution to deliver combined 360° visibility and AI-powered insights for commercial fleets. SureCam Vantage will provide up to six synchronised views around the vehicle to help meet regulatory requirements and reduce on-road risk.
“A growing number of cities are implementing stricter Vision Zero and Direct Vision standards, requiring fleets to eliminate blind spots, improve situational awareness, and capture verifiable evidence of road incidents,” explains Justin White, European Managing Director of SureCam. “SureCam Vantage represents the next generation of video telematics, which has been designed to help fleets meet these mandates while boosting driver safety and operational efficiency.”
SureCam Vantage supports up to six configurable cameras all through a single dashcam device, without the need for a mobile digital video recorder (MDVR) solution. Alongside the ability to capture road, driver, side, rear, and cargo views, an optional in-cab monitor gives the driver real-time visibility, reinforcing safe manoeuvring and adherence to evolving city-level regulations. It will be suitable for a wide range of vans, HGVs and specialist vehicles, especially those operating in complex and dense urban environments.
Meanwhile, the all-in-one dashcam can incorporate Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) capabilities to detect distraction, fatigue, phone use and other risky behaviours, as well as road hazards such as tailgating and collision threats. Automated in-cab alerts empower drivers to self-correct before incidents occur, while all footage is automatically uploaded to SureCam’s cloud platform, enabling rapid event review, coaching and analytics. It also offers Geotab compatibility, enabling comprehensive safety scoring and operational insights.
“With SureCam Vantage, we are giving fleets a powerful yet accessible toolset that helps them stay compliant while dramatically improving day-to-day driver safety. It represents a leap forward in delivering safer streets and more resilient fleet operations,” adds White.
