Senior Appointment At Walker Logistics.
Berkshire-based fulfilment specialist, Walker Logistics, has appointed a new Head of Customer Services to lead its rapidly growing customer services team.
In her role, which is a newly created position within Walker, Gill Gristwood will be responsible for developing Walker’s already highly successful customer services department to create a best-in-class operation that will support the company’s ongoing growth strategy.
“Our client services team has expanded to keep pace with our continually developing client base. We now have some 30 members of staff dedicated to ensuring that our customers receive the highest levels of care and Gill will manage this team,” said Jo Denton, General Manager of Walker Logistics.
Gill, who previously held a senior account management role within Walker, commented: “Walker Logistics is renowned for its first-rate customer service and our customer services team works hard to ensure that we continue to delight our customers and I am relishing the opportunity to create ever stronger connections with Walker’s valued clients.”
In addition, Walker has further strengthened its customer service operation with the appointment of Aimee Laing as senior logistics administrator. With a background in retail and customer service, Aimee will look after a sub-team within Walker’s customer service department.
Established in 1999, Walker Logistics offers a comprehensive range of bespoke logistics services to a broad range of clients from a modern facility close to Junction 14 of the M4.
