From gift packs to returns handling, Autumn trade shows see BCMPA promote outsourcing’s vital role for brands and retailers

The BCMPA – the Association for Contract Manufacturing, Packing, Fulfilment & Logistics, will be showcasing the many advantages of third-party outsourcing at two prominent industry exhibitions this September: London Packaging Week and eCommerce Expo, both taking place at London’s ExCel.

Representing over 200 member companies, the BCMPA’s participation in these events offers a valuable opportunity for brands and retailers to identify potential third-party outsourcers. Strong working partnerships can help alleviate existing production or packing pressures, support fulfilment services, and facilitate the launch of new products across a wide variety of sectors.

During London Packaging Week on 11th and 12th September, visitors will find the BCMPA at stand A42, where they can discuss their specific outsourcing needs with the team. As a key event in the packaging industry’s calendar, this show provides the ideal occasion to explore solutions in contract manufacturing, packing, and fulfilment, as well as logistics support. From providing gift packing and subscription services to the development and manufacturing of food and drink, nutraceutical or personal care products, the BCMPA can help identify a range of suitable outsourcing partners.

In addition, four BCMPA members – Charles Kendall, Lyte Packaging, PHL Fulfilment, and Poppypac – will be present on their own stands at the show to discuss face to face their specific outsourcing services that help get products to market.

At the eCommerce Expo on 18th and 19th September, the BCMPA will be at stand S36, alongside member Active Ants. This well-respected event is a prime platform for promoting BCMPA members specialising in eCommerce and fulfilment services, with 300 eCommerce solution providers and over 12,000 visitors anticipated across the two days.

With over 60 BCMPA members offering a range of eCommerce and fulfilment services including storage and distribution, pick n pack, personalisation, subscription packages and returns handling, the BCMPA helps brands and start-ups to find companies who can get their products directly to the customer.

BCMPA CEO Emma Verkaik views these autumn events as a perfect opportunity to emphasise the expanding role of the Association’s members in both traditional retail and eCommerce sectors.

“From innovative manufacturing and packing for brands and retailers to fast and efficient eCommerce and fulfilment services, our members provide essential third-party outsourcing solutions that allow brand owners and retailers to focus on product development and sales,” she said.

“These industry-leading shows will enable us to showcase our members’ agility and expertise across the many vital outsourced manufacturing, packing and fulfilment services they offer.”
