Partnership agreement will help drive sales and enhance support for Cimcorp’s robotic solutions in the United Kingdom
Cimcorp, a manufacturer and integrator of turnkey robotic order fulfilment and tyre-handling solutions, has signed an agreement with Conveyor Networks Ltd for the company to represent Cimcorp in the UK market. Cimcorp offers advanced material handling and software technologies for order fulfilment and storage in the food & beverage, retail, e-commerce, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and postal services sectors. The co-operation with Conveyor Networks will focus in particular on intralogistics solutions for the food retail and e-commerce markets.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Conveyor Networks provides turnkey automation systems to solve a variety of material handling challenges for its clients. The systems integration specialist – based in Daresbury, Cheshire – has supplied automated logistics solutions to principal FMCG brands such as Johnson & Johnson and Unilever, and also leading retailers including Pets At Home, WH Smith and QVC. Conveyor Networks also provides comprehensive aftersales support and maintenance services.
Kai Tuomisaari, Cimcorp’s Vice President, Sales
Kai Tuomisaari, Cimcorp’s Vice President, Sales, commented: “We are excited to have formed this partnership with the Conveyor Networks team. They have excellent connections and experience in the food and beverage sector, as well as in e-commerce – both key markets for our solutions. Our robotic systems are ideal for automating the order picking process for grocery retailers. The UK is also a highly developed market for online shopping,” continued Kai Tuomisaari, “which means great potential for our robotic goods-to-person solution for e-commerce.”
