Michigan-based material handling and storage systems specialist, Shelving + Rack Systems, Inc (a BMH Systems company) has announced its new role as a distributor for the range of automated and robot-based storage solutions developed and manufactured by Rainbow Dynamics.
The agreement empowers Shelving + Rack to drive demand for Rainbow’s advanced material handling technology within a strategic territory that covers much of the Midwest and Northeast US, including Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, New York and New England.
Rainbow Dynamics’ North American General Manager, Keith Gallant, said: “Shelving + Rack wholeheartedly share our desire to implement measures that minimise the risks associated with automation adoption for their customers and we are delighted that the company has joined our US channel partner team.”
Mike Burskey, Shelving + Rack’s Vice President, Systems Division, commented: “Helping our customers improve storage density and throughput capabilities, while greatly reducing the manpower they require are always top priorities. Working closely with Rainbow Dynamics offers us the ability to present a 4D pallet shuttle AS/RS and ecommerce fulfillment solution that accomplishes these things and more. Inventory control, scalability and highly competitive price points are all factors that make these systems so attractive.”
Designed for warehousing, supply chain logistics, and ecommerce operations, Rainbow Dynamics’ new generation of innovative solutions aim to be straightforward to commission, deploy and operate.
In addition to the company’s 4D pallet shuttle AS/RS and AGV forklift solutions, Rainbow Dynamics’ RackBotTM is a tote-based AS/RS solution that can be adapted to standard shelving, making it economical, quick to install and commission and scalable to provide the flexibility to adapt to users’ changing needs.
