Queclink Wireless Solutions, a global provider of IoT devices and hardware, has launched an asset and cargo monitoring tool for the logistics and material handling marketplace. The robust and compact Bluetooth beacon boasts advanced tracking, easy installation and long-life battery, making it ideal for a wide range of management and security applications within road transport and warehouse operations.
“Our latest Bluetooth beacon provides a highly accurate and flexible solution that delivers real-time visibility of assets within the warehouse and distribution environment,” explains Vernon Bonser, UK Sales Director of Queclink Wireless Solutions. “These advanced tracking capabilities will allow logistics businesses to target improved inventory management, increased equipment utilisation and added protection against theft.”
Possessing a transmission range of up to 100 metres, the Bluetooth beacon uses BLE 5.2 technology to connect seamlessly with Queclink’s tracking units. The device is almost 30% slimmer and 25% lighter than the company’s previous solution, with a number of installation options and configurable tracking frequency to meet precise monitoring requirements and maximise battery life. The robust IP67 waterproof rating also ensures it can operate in the harshest environments and weather conditions.
“Our longstanding expertise in developing advanced tracking and IoT hardware solutions means we are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible for the road transport and logistics sectors. Innovation is at the forefront of our business, underpinned by reliable and proven technology that delivers real-world benefits and ROI. As a result, we have continued to experience strong demand for our fleet and video telematics products from both new and existing partners,” adds Bonser.
