GOPLASTICPALLETS.COM LAUNCHES NEW FREEZER SPACERS TO HELP FOOD MANUFACTURERS BOOST COLD CHAIN EFFICIENCY
goplasticpallets.com, the responsible plastic pallet company, has expanded its portfolio with the launch of two new high-performance plastic freezer spacers, designed to accelerate the freezing and tempering process in cold storage environments. This new product range – perfect for those companies freezing meat, seafood, bakery items or prepared meals – highlights the company’s commitment to supporting its clients with new and innovative solutions.
Available in two standard sizes – 1200mm x 800mm (Euro size) and 1200mm x 1000mm (UK size) – the durable freezer spacers are manufactured from strong, food-grade HDPE and supplied in black. Engineered to improve airflow between layers of stacked goods, the spacers ensure even air distribution across palletised loads. This delivers faster freezing times, consistent product integrity and greater energy efficiency throughout the cold chain.
The new plastic freezer spacers have been designed for use in blast freezers, cold stores, and temperature-controlled logistics. These robust products offer a resilient and hygienic alternative to traditional materials, while their nestable design saves valuable storage space when not in use. Fully reusable, easy to clean, and suitable for temperatures from -50°C to +90°C, the spacers are also 100% recyclable at the end of their long service life, helping businesses to green their supply chains.
Dan Starnes, Sales Director at goplasticpallets.com, said: “We are pleased to introduce our new freezer spacers, which will provide our customers with a reliable solution for improving cold chain performance. By ensuring rapid air circulation, they will not only speed up the freezing process, but also help our clients to reduce energy consumption whilst maintaining product quality. Unlike cardboard or wooden alternatives, they won’t splinter, absorb moisture, or degrade over time.
“This is just another example of how we continue to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions that boost efficiency. We spend considerable time speaking to our customers to understand their problems, and source cutting-edge products that deliver real value.”
