BCMPA PROMOTES THE POWER OF OUTSOURCING AT THIS YEAR’S MAKING PHARMACEUTICALS SHOW
The BCMPA – The Association for Contract Manufacturing, Packing, Fulfilment & Logistics, is highlighting the pivotal role contract development and manufacturing organisations (CDMOs) play within the industry at this year’s Making Pharmaceuticals.
This free-to-attend event brings together the established Making Pharmaceuticals Exhibition and Conference with a new, co-located event focused on Good Distribution Practice – Distributing Pharmaceuticals. Both are taking place at the Coventry Building Society Arena, on the 25th and 26th April.
Visitors to stand 625 will see the BCMPA explain the extended benefits of working with CDMOs and have the opportunity for detailed in-person discussions with members who are playing a key role across the supply chain for many of today’s leading pharmaceutical brands.
The introduction of the new Manufacturing & Packing Zone at this year’s show will further highlight the enormous contribution that CDMOs provide to the industry. From new product development, clinical trials, formulation, and manufacture, to filling, blister packing, serialisation, and end-user distribution, BCMPA members can provide an extensive cohort of services to help customers evaluate and manufacture pharmaceutical products to all the necessary regulatory and MHRA certification requirements.
The show also features an extensive conference programme, with BCMPA members GMP Manufacturing, PHL Fulfilment and Brand Addition (sister company to Chester Medical Solutions) amongst others. Here pharmaceutical professionals will have the opportunity to learn more about topics such as ‘How to implement operational excellence within pharma’, ‘The future of pharma delivery direct to customer’, and ‘3D printing to support the pharma industry’ as well as hear a range of other industry talks.
Emma Verkaik, Membership & Marketing Director of the BCMPA, said: “Making Pharmaceuticals is the ideal opportunity for brand owners, retailers, and entrepreneurs alike to discuss their latest ideas and plans with the BCMPA at this important UK event, with a view to meeting their outsourcing needs in the pharmaceutical sector, and identifying suitable and effective partners.”
The extensive range of services available, and the ability to explore the Association’s extensive free on line search facility at the show will help identify the perfect partner for projects. BCMPA members, Chester Medical Solutions, Custom Pharma Services, GMP Manufacturing and Thermo Fisher Scientific will also be exhibiting independently, offering further advice on their services.
Verkaik added: “We are looking forward to attending the UK’s leading pharmaceutical show once again and, together with our members, will be delighted to support visitors in finding their perfect outsourcing partner.”
Tickets for Making Pharmaceuticals can be secured online here.
