ARROWXL EXPANDS IN-HOME SOLUTIONS FOR IRISH CUSTOMERS
Retailers and manufacturers of white goods will now be able to offer customers in the Republic of Ireland a more comprehensive delivery and installation solution thanks to investment by ArrowXL, the leading two-person home delivery expert. The carrier has extended its range of ‘wet connect services’ to include all clients across the country.
The move forms part of ArrowXL’s commitment to further strengthen its portfolio of services and solutions to consumers in the Republic of Ireland, on behalf of retailers. As of now, the company’s local delivery heroes will be able to install and plumb dishwashers and washing machines, in addition to providing standard delivery.
This follows significant investment in training conducted within the company’s Development Academy, based at its headquarters in Wigan. The centre was opened last year and incorporates a purpose-built apartment including a kitchen, which allows colleagues to practice deliveries and installations.
Roddy Macdonald, Head of Operations Scotland and Ireland, at ArrowXL, said: “We are proud to extend our range of industry-leading in-home solutions across the Irish sea and to further improve the levels of service we provide to those consumers based in the Republic of Ireland. This investment will help to drive new enquiries and sales for our retail clients servicing the Irish market.”
