The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) is pleased to announce that comedian, presenter, actor and singer, Jason Manford will be the special guest at the LEEA Awards 2023 dinner, which will be held at the Rum Warehouse in Liverpool on the evening of 21st November 2023 – the first night of LiftEx 2023.
Hosting shows like Big Heads, The Olivier Awards and Sunday Night At The Palladium, Jason is a familiar and well-loved face on television. He shot to stardom as team Captain on Channel 4’s, ‘8 out of 10 Cats’ in 2007. Following UK tours, he did stand up sets on ‘Live at the Apollo’, ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’ and ‘The Royal Variety Performance’. In 2011, Jason was crowned the winner of Born to Shine showcasing his not-so hidden talent of opera singing. He has since starred in numerous stage musicals in the West End and across the UK such as Sweeney Todd, The Producers, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Guys and Dolls and Curtains.
Jason has enjoyed the phenomenal success of his international sell out tours, these global gigs have cemented his place as a household name. Now, The Awards Dinner is honoured to have Jason hosting the evening’s ceremonies on stage and present the LEEA Award 2023 winners with their trophies.
