Rite-Hite to showcase complete range of fully integrated loading bay safety systems at Intralogistica
Rite-Hite, one of the leading manufacturers of loading bay and industrial safety equipment, will present its latest range of safety and efficiency innovations for the loading dock and warehouse environment at Intralogistica, including a preview of its new Dok-Guardian™ XL HD Safety Barrier which will be fully launched later this year.
The Dok-Guardian™ XL HD Safety Barrier is an extra-tall, high-visibility safety barrier designed to prevent falls from open loading docks and protect pedestrians and equipment, such as forklifts and pallet trucks from accidental run-offs. It features a high-strength fiberglass-reinforced curtain and tear-resistant tension straps to withstand high-impact collision and provide maximum security at the loading dock.
Alongside the new safety barrier, Rite-Hite will exhibit its Global Wheel-Lok™ system to prevent early departure and accidents from trailer creep. The Global Wheel-Lok™ features automatic tire sizing and a pullout force resistance up to 142kN. This solution will also be complemented by the TS-2000 Trailer Stand which helps prevent trailer tipping or landing gear collapse.
To address unwanted airflow from entering or leaving the warehouse, Rite-Hite’s Eclipse® Dock Shelter will also be digitally showcased on the stand. At the interface between trailer and loading dock, the shelter provides a tight, consistent seal up the trailer sides, across the top and at the corners blocking light and sealing gaps for a dark, environmentally-secure dock. The advanced design provides protection against dust and pests, and prevents wasted energy from escaping the facility thus saving significantly on cost.
Thorsten Mauritz, Director of Marketing and Product Management Europe at Rite-Hite, says Rite-Hite is more than just a ‘products’ business: “Though we manufacture a wide range of products, we are first and foremost a solutions provider that takes a holistic approach to further improve safety, productivity and energy efficiency in and around the warehouse and logistics environment.
“Intralogistica provides the perfect opportunity for us to further connect with the Italian market and meet with both potential new customers and existing ones to discuss their needs and further establish our presence in Italy.”
