The BCMPA – the Association for Contract Manufacturing, Packing, Fulfilment & Logistics – will highlight how outsourcing is the essential ingredient to help ambitious brands accelerate growth and take new products to market at the White & Private Label Expo 2026. Taking place at Excel London on 11-12 November, the event will bring retailers, startups, entrepreneurs, and e-commerce sellers together with manufacturers and supply-chain specialists who can help turn promising ideas into scalable, market-ready products.
Visitors can meet the BCMPA team on stand W124 and learn how the Association’s network of more than 200 members supports businesses from early product development and initial volumes through to manufacturing, packing, storage, ecommerce fulfilment and logistics. With members active across many industry sectors – from food, drink, nutraceuticals, health and beauty, household, petcare and ecommerce and fulfilment – young startups have the choice of experienced outsourcing specialists to drive their business forward.
Emma Verkaik, CEO of the BCMPA, said: “We are always told by visitors to our stand that they wish they had found the BCMPA website and resource earlier, as it is so efficient in putting young brands in touch with outsourcing solutions.”
At an early stage of a product’s development, it is often difficult to understand where to start but choosing the right third-party partner can give brands access to established production capacity, technical knowledge and commercial experience without the cost and complexity of building every capability in-house. With so many global supply chain issues, rising costs and fast-changing consumer demand, it is vital to be supported by the right team that can scale up with the brand as orders grow.
BCMPA members offer a wide range of services to accommodate many different packaging formats that reflect the current trends in the market. Verkaik added: “We are seeing a rise in nutraceutical and wellness brands, which mirrors the growing demand by consumers to pursue healthy options. We have also seen increasing enquiries to fill new drinks into cans, functional drinks as well as non-alcoholic versions. In health and beauty, there is a need for collagen products, and in nutraceuticals, clients are looking for powder and liquid supplements, gummies and capsules with a growing requirement for stick pack formats.”
Choosing the right third-party partner can give brands access to established production capacity, technical knowledge and commercial experience without the cost and complexity of building every capability in-house.
Verkaik said: “Entrepreneurs often have exciting ideas and a strong understanding of their target markets, but scaling production can present a completely different set of challenges. Working with the right outsourcing partner gives them access to practical experience, established processes and the flexibility needed to move forward with confidence.
“Our members support businesses at every stage, from testing an idea and producing initial volumes to increasing capacity as demand grows. White & Private Label Expo provides an excellent opportunity for brands to discuss their ambitions face-to-face and understand how collaboration can help turn an idea into a market-ready product.”
The breadth of BCMPA member expertise will be reflected across the show floor. Exhibiting members Technikraft, VMS Solutions and Wilsons Pet Food will show capabilities spanning specialist manufacturing and product support for brands seeking experienced UK outsourcing partners.
The BCMPA will also use the White & Private Label Expo to champion the 2027 edition of Pitch the Co-Packers, its Dragons’ Den-style competition focused on supporting ambitious start-ups and early-stage brands. With entries closing in November, finalists will pitch their products, challenges and growth ambitions to a panel of experienced contract manufacturing, packing and fulfilment specialists at Packaging Innovations & Empack, held at the NEC Birmingham on 24-25 February 2027.
Designed to bridge the gap between a strong product idea and commercial execution, Pitch the Co-Packers gives young brands the opportunity to win a £1,500 cash prize and gain expert feedback, all while raising their profile and beginning conversations with potential outsourcing partners.
Verkaik added: “We’re on the lookout for bold and brilliant start-ups and early-stage brands in sectors including food and drink, health and wellness, beauty, nutraceuticals, pet care and household products. It’s anyone who can create a success story. Pitch the Co-Packers brings the value of outsourcing to life and gives founders a platform to present their vision, test their thinking and connect with people who understand the practical realities of manufacturing, packing, fulfilment and scale-up.”
“It reflects the same message we will take to White & Private Label Expo, namely, that great products need the right expertise and partnerships behind them. The BCMPA is ideally placed to help entrepreneurs, start-ups and established brands find the specialist outsourcing partner that can help turn potential into tomorrow’s products.”
