GateHouse Logistics Joins Panel at Automotive Leaders Summit.
Joins panel to discuss future transportation and the impact on the supply chain
Logistics data unifier GateHouse Logistics A/S today announces that it will join a panel at the upcoming Automotive Leaders Summit being held in Liverpool (June 13-14) to discuss future transportation and the impact on the supply chain.
GateHouse Logistics is already deeply involved in futuristic projects making the supply chain more effective and efficient. The firm entered into a joint agreement last year with Magna International to set up a Long Distance Just in Sequence (LD-JIS) tracking solution for new vehicle programs at Magna’s Steyr facility in Graz, Austria.
“GateHouse Logistics is already seeing deep changes in the way that the logistics industry serves the supply chain and Just-in-Sequence deliveries for the automotive industry is a prominent example,” says Lars Mohr Jensen, Product & Development Director at GateHouse Logistics. “Our fundamental logistics ghTrack technology unifies all telematics data being streamed to the Graz facility from suppliers, hauliers and 3PLs into one consolidated data stream and is a blueprint for next generation logistics data distribution.”
The Automotive Leaders Summit brings together panels of industry experts giving keynote addresses and sharing their knowledge, insight and views on the future of the automotive industry. Now in its ninth year, wide-ranging subjects to be covered by speakers include the autonomous vehicle and connected technology that brings benefits to consumers and tangible benefits to the entire supply chain. www.gatehouselogistics.com
